“I Want to Get Super-White Teeth!“ Dental Veneers: Treatment Cases and Pricing

In today’s post, we are introducing the case of foreign patient who visited us seeking to get super-white teeth.

Previously, we introduced a case involving 6 front teeth.
After having the 6 upper front teeth done, the patient wanted the rest of his teeth to be equally white and bright. So, the patient opted for an additional 2 upper teeth and 6 lower teeth, resulting in a total of 14 laminates (8 upper and 6 lower).
This model patient desired extra white teeth due to frequent television appearances and public speaking engagements.
As teeth whitening is not permanent and has limits depending on individual’s natural teeth shade. If you desire a dramatically change before and after getting treatment, dental veneers would be a better option.
For routine care, we also highly recommend one-day teeth whitening treatment as it can be another good option to consider.

As this foreign model patient requested whiter and permanent teeth, he decided to get veneers after consultation.
The patient had veneers applied to the 14 teeth that are visible when speaking or opening his mouth, with minimal removal of the natural teeth. As a result, the patient was happy with the final color and particularly appreciated that his previously crooked lower teeth became aligned after the treatment.

In most cases, veneers are applied without tooth reduction/removal, but depending on the patient’s original bite or tooth condition, minimal or some reduction may be necessary. Therefore, it is necessary to receive an accurate diagnosis from a dentist before proceeding with treatment.
In the case of the lower teeth, as shown in the photo above, they come into contact with the back of the upper teeth. Depending on an individual's bite, there may not be sufficient space for the veneers, and it might be necessary to reduce some of the lower teeth to accommodate them.
Before getting veneers, a dental examination by a dentist is essential.
Ceramic(e.max) Veneers Treatment Price (based on 2024 EVENT Price)
Oral exam, including a panoramic x-ray, is 20,000 KRW and covered by Korean National Health Insurance if the patient is eligible. *The examination is mandatory for all patients to prevent any potential side effects afterwards.
- 550,000 KRW per tooth
- 500,000 KRW per tooth, if more than two veneers
- 480,000 KRW per tooth, if 4 or more veneers
Veeners and teeth whitening are subject to taxation by law. Please note that ONLY foreign tourists are eligible for a tax refund.
1.The listed price is for cases where at least 2 veneers are applied and before-and-after photos of the mouth area (as shown) are shared.
2. If you do not wish to share photos, the price is 550,000 KRW per veneer.
3. A dental examination and consultation, including a panoramic X-ray, are required before getting veneers. If there are cavities in the teeth you want to cover with veneers, they must be treated or removed before the veneers can be applied.
4. The production time for veneers is approximately 1 week for a single veneer and 8-10 days for 2 or more veneers.
